Welcome to my Edisto Beach website. You will find some interesting facts about a really "kool" family beach that is located just one hour south of Charleston, SC. In fact, it's thirty miles off a major highway having one way in and one way out. It is a beautiful drive past marshes, tidal creeks, the ICW and huge live oaks. You will see what the low country is all about.

When you arrive, after crossing the one half mile causeway, you will be at one of the greatest, most friendly and best kept secret beaches on the east coast. You will be able to view scores of seagulls and huge flocks of brown and white pelicans flying up and down the beach. We offer easy access to the beach with one entrance for every block on the main beach road. There are no stop lights, high rises or hotels and if, you come here to be entertained, then Edisto Beach is not the place for you. There is plenty to do from fishing, kayaking, sunbathing, shelling, golf, tennis and much more, but it's up to you to choose. We have plenty of condos and houses to rent as well as houses, condos and investment/building lots for sale. You can check my real estate page for some of my listings.

I have owned a house here since 1997 and have been a full time resident since 1998. Besides selling real estate, I currently serve on the Town Council, have a Coast Guard Captains license, serve as the Safety Officer on the volunteer fire department and enjoy boating, fishing and being at the beach with my family and friends.

Our town has its own fire department which utilizes both paid and volunteer fire fighters, EMS medic service on a 24/7 basis, a full time police force, our own city water, streets and roads maintenance department, including, our own little town hall. There are approximately 700 permanent residents and some 2000 homes on just the beach. We have some great restaurants, a few bars, lots of shops, a Piggly Wiggly grocery store, a liquor store and plenty of sunshine. What else would one need to have a good time?
